At address the MP-59 have a larger head than the previous model and this is a welcome change, especially in the long irons, which now look much more appealing. The location of the titanium Ti Muscle behind the impact area ensures that the centre of gravity is located closer to the clubface and improves stability which allows Mizuno to reduce the offset.

Very impressed. Slightly thicker than the MP-69 Irons blades, and provide the look and feel that will attract almost all golfers. Very solid-looking club at address, and the flight was high but controllable. Feel and sound of the club was better than previous Mizuno irons (which I also liked). Definitely a contender if you consistently strike the ball clean and are looking for a new set of irons.
