keyboard keys not working on my macbook

A weird thing happened with my Laptop Keyboard suddenly some of the keys stopped working, the backspace key, number one from the numlock, F1 F11 and F12 . i rebooted the system many times and I checked the settings in system preferences everything seems to be fine I don't know how to solve this problem it's been 2 days now and I have no idea what is the problem exactly or how to solve it, I didn't make any changes lately to my mac and this thing just appeared out of no where
Did it happen to someone? Does it have to do with keyboard itself or the software , hardware??
